VALUES
Our values are what we feel God has uniquely put in our hearts to emphasize as a Church. They flow out of Scripture and also out of our own unique DNA as a Church family. These values are what we will intentionally prioritize across the life and ministry of the church.
WE EXALT CHRIST JESUS
Col. 1:15-20; 1 Co. 2:2
We believe Christ Himself is to have the first place and be our first love in all things.
Therefore, we are unapologetically Christ centered and Christ focused in all things.
WE PREACH GOD'S WORD
2 Tim. 3:16-17; 4:1-2
We believe the Word of God reveals Jesus and equips believers for every good work.
Therefore, we uphold and love the Word, we study it, teach it, and obey it completely.
WE YIELD TO HOLY SPIRIT
Acts 1:8; 1 Co. 14:1
We believe God wants to encounter His people and empower them for a holy and supernatural life.
Therefore, we earnestly desire and pursue the fullness of the Holy Spirit while yielding to His voice and leading.
WE PRIORITIZE PRAYER
1 Tim. 2:1; Lk. 5:16
We believe we were made to know God intimately and to partner with Him through prayer. Therefore, we are devoted to being people of prayer as the first of all our ministries.
we pursue the lost
Lk. 19:10; 2 Pt. 3:9
We believe Jesus came to seek and to save the lost, and that He waits to return because He longs for more to come to know Him. Therefore, we intentionally pursue the lost and equip believers to reach the lost around them.
we contend for revival
Ps. 85:6; Is. 64:1-2
We believe our city and nation is in desperate need of a real move of God in our day. The only answer for our day is God Himself. Therefore, we contend for God to pour out His Spirit and make His Name known in a regional and historic way.
we make disciples
Mt. 28:19-20; Col. 1:28
We believe true maturity in Christ is only reached through discipleship, as Jesus modeled it.
Therefore, we intentionally establish believers in authentic, vulnerable, and deep discipleship relationships.
we serve our city
Mk. 10:45; Gal. 2:10; Js. 1:27
We believe God deeply loves the poor, the broken, and the marginalized of society.
Therefore, we serve the needs of our neighborhoods and cities with humility and love, not expecting anything in return.
WE CONFRONT CULTURE
1 Tim. 3:15; Acts 2:38
We believe God passionately desires to release truth, justice and righteousness upon the earth.
Therefore, we also passionately apply truth and love to the specific sins and struggles in the culture of our day.
WE SEND OUT WITNESSES
Acts 1:8; 13:1-3
We believe God always desires to expand the work of the gospel to new regions and places.
Therefore, we intentionally resource, support, and send out church leaders and planters to impact new communities for Jesus.
